In life and at work I am always thinking about what is next. How do I go to the next level? How do I get myself ahead of the curve?
How will I get that promotion? How do I ramp up for a world where future technologies change faster than fashion trends? Quite predictably I spent a lot of time making grandeur plans that gets knocked out like straw by even the slightest of winds of change. Not to mention the free add-ons of anxiety and stress that seem to follow such a predicament. Yet despite all of that, I am able to rest peacefully knowing that, because of the Gospel I am never outside God’s plan for me. I get a good night’s sleep being assured that God is author of my work-life and His plans for me are always invested in my eternal success.
