When I walked into New City Church about a year ago, I was sinking deep into a crisis of faith. By then, I had spent a year trying to ‘prove’ Christ to a friend.

He had challenged me. Not only was I finding it hard to defend my faith, but somewhere along the way his questions and philosophical angst had latched onto me. I was scared. All I wanted was to be left alone to discover the truth. It was at this point I found New City Church. Surprisingly, this church gave me the space, along with the right amount of love I needed to come back into a thriving relationship with Jesus. I experienced a delightful paradox in New City — it was by giving me space to doubt and respecting it, that the church revitalized my faith in Jesus through its teaching and music and worship.
